Our Land, Our Nation, Our History

Four shows – 11:00am, 12:00pm, 1:00pm and 2:00pm

Time: 11:00am to 3:00pm

Location: The Dome at the 2010 Aboriginal Pavilion

Presented by: The Grand Council of the Crees

Led by Grand Chief Matthew Coon Come and Deputy Grand Chief Ashley Iserhoff, the Cree delegation will share the world stage with talented Cree artists and musicians. Performers will present Cree songs, legends and storytelling according to the four seasons: Spring, Fruit of our Culture; Summer, Fruit of our People; Fall, Fruit of our Nation; Winter, Fruit of our Survival.

The Cree delegation will be comprised of leaders of Cree organizations, Elders, youth, men and women who will share: Our Land Our Nation Our History.

Featuring Spakwus Slolem, Ian Ross and Sandy Scofield

Spakwus Slolem - the Squamish Eagle Song Dancers - usher in a wonderful evening of traditional songs, followed by the adventures of Joe from Winnipeg with broadcaster Ian Ross, and not one but two different ensembles led by the award-winning songwriter-singer-composer Sandy Scofield.
